At BudgetSimple, we’re always thinking about security. We know you never want someone accessing your account without your permission.
As part of that line of thinking, today we’re disabling the ability to “Remember Me”, which allowed you to stay logged in to BudgetSimple. This was super convenient for people, but as we continue to add more advanced features (such as linking your bank accounts), we want to step up our security game as well.
Allowing your password to be saved leaves the possibility that someone could use your computer and access your account. While you may be ok with that risk, we felt it best to not allow it as an option. This is typical with what most banks require as well. So it’s a little less convenient, but in the long run for the best.
