Meeker previously co-founded social media website, MeetUp. The company rebranded to Bark & Company in April 2013. The company is located in New York City, New York. It currently employs over 350 people. Some other brands under the company include the photo-sharing app BarkCam and BarkBuddy, which is often referred to as the “Tinder for Dogs”. A few years after the company’s launch, it was recognized by Forbes Magazine as being one of the top 20 companies to follow on social media. To date, BarkBox has served over 2 million dogs worldwide. BarkBox is available for customers located in the United States and Canada.
Each month, you will receive surprise packages for your dog. Included will be toys, snacks, and adventures. There are monthly themes, so each month, you will be receiving something different and unique from the rest of the packages you have received. Subscriptions start at $21 per month and include free shipping. All boxes are shipped on the 15th of each month. In each BarkBox, you will receive at least 2 toys, 2 all-natural treats, and a chew toy for your dog. At this time, BarkBox does not offer boxes for puppies or cats/kittens.
