Firstleaf is a wine delivery service based out of Healdsburg, CA. It was founded in 2016 by Phillip James. there are over 35,000 members signed up for the monthly subscription. The company’s main goal is to always tailor to members’ specific preferences. The company partners with wineries and winemakers directly instead of dealing with middlemen (importers, distributors, and retailers). Firstleaf ships to 40 U.S. states. They do not ship to Alaska, Alabama, Hawaii, Idaho, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, or Utah.
When you first sign up for Firstleaf, you will receive an Introductory shipment, which includes three bottles of wines that are only $5 each. You will then be creating a taste profile because you will rate each wine. The total cost of the first shipment is $15 plus $4.95 for shipping and handling. After the first shipment, you will be charged the regular price for monthly shipments. Club shipments are six bottles and are $79.95 plus $9.95 for shipping and handling. Shipments are shipped on a monthly basis. Firstleaf carries award-winning wines from award-winning wineries. They carry red wine, white wine, and more. Some of the varieties include Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Shiraz, Zinfandel, Red Blends, Pinot Gris, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and White Blends. Aside from the monthly wine shipments, you can also shop at the online store to order wine, accessories, apparel, and more.
