About Rush Fitness
The Rush Fitness Complex is a chain of health and fitness clubs in the United States, founded in 2000 by Mr. Larry Gurney. Starting in 2012, Mr. David Carney was President and CEO, and its headquarters were in Knoxville, Tennessee. In 2014, Gold’s Gym acquired all 23 club locations in Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and South Carolina, which served over 33,000 members at the time of acquisition. Gold’s Gym was founded in 1965 and is now in over 28 countries and 38 states, with over 700 locations. The majority of these locations are franchise-owned.
The Rush Fitness Complex locations, all since rebranded under Gold’s Gym corporate umbrella, offer members access to the latest technology in aerobic exercise equipment and weight machines. Group classes such as Zumba, yoga, Pilates, and Bootcamp, just to name a few, are available at varying schedules throughout the week. Childcare services are also available at each location.
All memberships through The Rush Fitness Complex have transitioned to Gold’s Gym. New members can check out the facility for free by registering for a free guest pass through the website. There are several membership options to select from, including monthly, short-term, long-term, and finally, paid-in-full. Since most of the locations are independently owned and operated, membership term options can vary, as can the membership registration and monthly fees. Personal training is available to members for an extra cost.
